Actress released 30th single with Cross Ange opening theme on October 15

Singer and voice actress Nana Mizuki's 30th and most recent single "Kindan no Resistance," which shipped on October 15, sold approximately 40,000 copies to rank at #5 on Oricon's weekly singles chart. The single is Mizuki's 20th single to rank in the top 10 on Oricon's weekly singles chart.

The single contains "Kidan no Resistance," which is the opening theme song for the Cross Ange television anime series; "Blue," which is the ending theme for the Uchū Senkan Yamato 2199: Tsuioku no Kōkai (Space Battleship Yamato 2199: Voyage of Remembrance) compilation film; and "Dream Rider." Mizuki's official YouTube channel is now streaming the full music video for "Kidan no Resistance."

Mizuki was the first voice actress or voice actor with a #1 album on Oricon's weekly chart. She released her 10th original album Supernal Liberty on April 16. Her 31st untitled single, which will contain the opening theme song for the Dog Days'' anime, and a Blu-ray Disc and DVD of her live show "Nana Mizuki Live Flight x Flight+" will all ship on January 14. Additionally, she will perform an acoustic live show titled "animelo mix presents Nana Mizuki Live Theater 2015 -Acoustic- supported by JOYSOUND Calbee" on January 17 and 18 in Saitama.

Mizuki's anime roles include Naruto's Hinata, Blood-C's Saya, and Minami-ke's Tōma. She has performed theme songs for anime such as Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha, Dog Days, and Senki Zesshō Symphogear. Japan's Agency for Cultural Affairs named Mizuki Rookie of the Year in the Popular Entertainment division of the 64th Annual Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology (MEXT) Art Encouragement Prizes in March.
