My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU's Watari to Write New Light Novel Series

The official website for Shogakukan's Gagaga Bunko and Lululu Bunko light novel imprints announced on Friday that Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Come wa Machigatteiru. (My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU) author Wataru Watari and illustrator saitom will team up for a new light novel slated for release next spring.
Gagaga and Lululu describe the new light novel as a "shocking" and "ambitious" new series with the key words "anti-hero, superpowers, and category error." This new light novel is part of Gagaga Bunko and Lululu Bunko's 2015 "Gagagaganbaru 2015 Project."
Watari's My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU light novel series inspired an anime series with a second season currently in production. Crunchyroll streamed the first anime season as it aired in Japan last year.
The light novels also received a video game adaptation and a tie-in original video anime last year. The novel series with illustrations by Ponkan8 topped the annual Kono Light Novel ga Sugoi! (This Light Novel is Amazing!) rankings for 2013.
