Mixed Vegetables' Komura to Launch Full Dozer Manga in December

posted on by Jennifer Sherman
Story follows girl's love triangle with TV star, childhood friend

This year's 23rd issue of Shueisha's Margaret magazine is announcing on Wednesday that Ayumi Komura will launch the Full Dozer manga in the first 2015 issue. The series with a "dynamic love triangle" will debut in the magazine on December 5.

The story centers on a girl whose first love is a television performer. The girl has a childhood friend who also loves her. A television performer is snatching the girl away from the one who has always been by her side.

Margaret announced in August that Komura would publish a new manga series and three new one-shots. Komura published the first one-shot, titled "Amber," in Margaret's 18th issue on August 20. The magazine's 19th issue included Komura's one-shot "Hatsukoi Harinezumi" (First Love Hedgehog), and the 20th issue included the one-shot "uno x uno."

Komura ended her cross-dressing shōjo Usotsuki Lily (Liar Lily) manga on May 2, after a five-year run.

Viz Media published Komura's Mixed Vegetables manga in print and digital forms in North America. The American Library Association's Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA) division listed the first Mixed Vegetables volume among the "great graphic novels for teens" published in 2009.
