New Hakuōki Stage Musical's Cast Unveiled in Costume

The official website for Hakuōki: Tōdō Heisuke-hen (Hakuōki: Heisuke Tōdō Story), the upcoming stage musical based on the Hakuōki game and anime franchise, unveiled the cast on Friday.
The cast includes:
Junya Ikeda as Heisuke Tōdō
Marina Tanoue as Chizuru Yukimura
Yūki Izawa as Toshizō Hijikata
Daisuke Hirose as Sōji Okita
Shōhei Hashimoto as Hajime Saitō
Maasa Igarashi as Sanosuke Harada
Shūto Miyazaki as Shinpachi Nagakura
Taira Imata as Isami Kondō
Ryōsuke Mikata as Keisuke Sannan
Shōta Takasaki as Susumu Yamazaki
Naoya Gomoto as Kyūju Amagiri
Yūsuke Kashiwagi as Kyō Shiranui
Manji Edogawa as Kōdō Yukimura
Erika Yanagita as Senhime
Shogo Suzuki as Chikage Kazama
Nobihiro Mōri will write and direct the musical. The musical will run in Kyoto from January 10 to 12 and then move to Tokyo from January 17 to 25.
Idea Factory's Hakuōki Shinsengumi Kitan romance adventure game from Otomate, Idea Factory's brand aimed at female players, shipped in Japan for the PS3 in 2010, and was released in North America in May.
The story of the game and its anime adaptation center around the historical Shinsengumi samurai group in Kyoto during the 19th century.
The Hakuōki anime franchise includes the 12-episode Hakuōki series, the 10-episode sequel series Hakuōki Hekketsu-roku, and the 6-episode Hakuōki Sekkaroku OAV series. The franchise also includes a prequel television anime series and two films that premiered in 2013. Sentai Filmworks licensed the franchise in 2013.
