Jōkamachi no Dandelion 4-Panel Manga Gets Anime
posted on by Karen Ressler
The January issue of Houbunsha's Manga Time Kirara Miracle! magazine is announcing on Saturday that an anime adaptation of Ayumu Kasuga's four-panel manga Jōkamachi no Dandelion (Castle Town Dandelion) has been green-lit.
In the manga's story, the everyday lives of the nine super-powered siblings of the royal family are monitored by more than 200 surveillance cameras and broadcast nationwide. The people of the nation who are watching the broadcast will have the ability to elect the next monarch. The story focuses on Akane, the third-oldest sister who can manipulate gravity. She is shy and desperately does not want to be caught on camera.
Kasuga launched the manga in 2012, and Houbunsha published the second compiled book volume in June.
Kasuga also designed the characters for the now-airing Gonna be the Twin-Tail!! anime.
