Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Sui PS3/Vita Port's Videos Streamed

Complete port of the Higurashi no Naku Koro ni game to ship on March 12 in Japan

Game developer Kaga Create began streaming two movies for the upcoming PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita ports Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Sui (When They Cry -The Best-) on Thursday.

The game will ship for both platforms on March 12 in Japan. The physical PlayStation 3 version for retail for 7,980 yen (about US$68) and the downloadable version for 7,000 yen (about US$60). The physical PlayStation Vita version will retail for 6,980 yen (about US$59) and the downloadable version for 6,000 yen (about US$51).

The game is a complete port that contains all past scenarios that were included in previous versions of the Higurashi no Naku Koro ni game. The new version will also have new features, such as cross platform saving, and will be full-voiced.

The voice cast includes:

Original creator Ryūkishi07 and his dojin circle 07th Expansion released a new installment in the series titled Higurashi no Naku Koro ni in August.

07th Expansion's original Higurashi no Naku Koro ni visual novel software launched for PC in 2002 and revolved around murders that coincide with an annual festival in a quiet rural village. The software inspired two television anime series, several video anime projects, two live-action films, and manga adaptations by several artists.
