Ressha Sentai ToQger vs Kyoryuger The Movie Sentai Film's Trailer Streamed

ToQger, Kyoryuger team work together to save world from destruction in January 17 film

Toei began streaming a trailer for its upcoming Ressha Sentai ToQger vs Kyoryuger The Movie Super Sentai special-effects film on Sunday.

The story of the film begins the ToQgers are told that an unknown energy is heading toward Earth. After finding out that the world has only one day before its destruction, the team meets the members from the Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger series.

The film will premiere in Japanese theaters on January 17. Movie-goers will receive a "sparkling notebook" as a present while supplies last.

The Ressha Sentai ToQger series premiered in Japan this past February as part of Toei's long-running Super Sentai franchise. The theme of the new show is trains, and the show targets train enthusiasts alongside Super Sentai fans. The members of the Tokkyūger squadron are: Tokkyū 1 (Red), Tokkyū 2 (Blue), Tokkyū 3 (Yellow), Tokkyū 4 (Green), and Tokkyū 5 (Pink). The main mech in the show is the Tokkyū-Oh, and the transformation sequences involve electronic ticket devices called "Tokkyu Chargers."

Shōjirō Nakazawa (Gokaiger vs. Gavan: The Movie, Kamen Rider Wizard) is directing the series and Yasuko Kobayashi (Shinkenger, Attack on Titan) is writing the scripts. Hirofumi Fukuzawa (Goseiger, Gokaiger) is in charge of action direction, and Hiroshi Butsuda (Kamen Rider × Kamen Raider Gaim and Wizard Tenkawakeme no Sengoku Movie Daigassen) is in charge of special effects. Takaaki Utsunomiya (Gokaiger, Shinkenger), Motoi Sasaki (Kyōryūger), and Toei's Kei Ishikawa is producing the series.
