A poster at the Jump Festa 2015 event revealed on Sunday that the new arc in the Naruto Shippuden anime will be titled "Naruto no Senaka ~Nakama no Kiseki~" (The Back of Naruto ~The Miracle of Comrades~), and will premiere in January. The poster features characters Naruto, Hinata, Tenten, Neji, Lee, Kiba, Ino, Sakura, Chōji, Shino, Gaara, and Tsunade — as well as Fū.
Although the Naruto manga by Masashi Kishimoto ended in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine on November 10 after 15 years of serialization, anime director Hayato Date confirmed in an interview that the anime would continue, and "new development" would start in the beginning of 2015. Shueisha's Shonen Jump magazine had announced earlier this month that singer Diana Garnet will perform the next ending theme song, "Spinning World."
The "final" film focusing on Naruto in the franchise, The Last: Naruto The Movie, premiered in Japan on December 6, and will premiere in the United States on February 20. A film focusing on the new character Bolt will premiere in Japan in August.
