Otakon Vegas to Host Voice Actor Toshio Furukawa, Voice Actress Shino Kakinuma

Otakon Vegas announced on Wednesday that it will host voice actor Toshio Furukawa and voice actress Shino Kakinuma at its 2015 event.
Toshio Furukawa began his prolific voice acting career in 1974. He has voiced dozens of roles including Piccolo in Dragon Ball Z, Portgas D. Ace in One Piece, Kageroza Inaba in Bleach, Kai Shiden in Mobile Suit Gundam, Ataru Moroboshi in Urusei Yatsura, Shin in Fist of the North Star, Sakamoto in Maison Ikkoku, Asuma Shinohara in Patlabor, Leon McNichol in Bubblegum Crisis, Hawks Eye in Sailor Moon Super S, and Asura in Soul Eater.
Furukawa's wife Shino Kakinuma is a voice actress in her own right. Her roles include Naru Osaka in Sailor Moon, Videl in Dragon Ball Z Kai, and Rie Kakinoki in Kemonozume.
Otakon Vegas will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada January 16-18. The previously announced guests include voice actor Steven Blum, voice actress and dubbing director Wendee Lee, voice actress and dubbing director Mary Elizabeth McGlynn, voice actress and dubbing director Lisa Ortiz, and character designer and animation director Sushio.
