Viz's Shonen Jump to Publish NisiOisin, Akihisa Ikeda's Manga 1-Shot

Monday's issue of Viz Media's Weekly Shonen Jump digital magazine announced that it will publish the Manga ONE-shot "What Can You Kill?" ("Nan Made Nara Koroseru?") by artist Akihisa Ikeda (Rosario + Vampire) and writer NisiOisin (Monogatari series, Medaka Box, Katanagatari). The "dark and deadly" one-shot will run in the next issue on January 12.
"What Can You Kill?" ran in the December issue of Shueisha's Jump Square magazine on November 4 along with Takeshi Obata (Death Note, Bakuman.) and NisiOisin's Manga ONE-shot, "RKD-EK9." Viz published "RKD-EK9" in English in its December 29th issue of Weekly Shonen Jump. NisiOisin is writing a series of nine one-shots for various magazines.
Viz Media also revealed that it will be publishing the first chapters of Ikeda's Rosario + Vampire manga as its next "Jump Back" series. The digital magazine previously published the first few chapters of Death Note and Naruto as part of its "Jump Back" initiative, which started in October. Monday's issue also included a preview for Yusei Matsui's Assassination Classroom manga.
