Pony Canyon announced on Thursday that it will release Yuki Yuna Is a Hero and Denki-gai no Honya-san on Blu-ray and DVD in North America on April 10. The company is signing exclusively with Right Stuf, Inc. to distribute "collector-grade" Blu-ray, DVD, and other merchandise in North America
PONYCAN USA's website advertised both anime when it launched in September.
Yuki Yuna Is a Hero (Yūki Yūna wa Yūsha de Aru) takes place in the era of the gods, year 300. Yūna Yūki lives an ordinary life as a second year middle school student, but she's also a member of the "Hero Club," where club activities involve dealing with a mysterious being called "Vertex."
The series stars Haruka Terui as Yūki Yūna, Yumi Uchiyama as Fu Inubozaki, Tomoyo Kurosawa as Itsuki Inubozaki, and Suzuko Mimori as Mimori Tōgo. The four voice actresses performed the opening theme "Hoshi to Hana" (Stars & Flowers), as well as the ending theme "Aurora Days."
Seiji Kishi (Persona 4 The Animation, Danganronpa The Animation) directed the series based on an original plan by Takahiro (Akame ga KILL!) at Studio Gokumi. Makoto Uezu handled series composition and BUNBUN designed the characters.
The series premiered on October 16 and Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired in Japan.
The "youthful bookstore comedy" Denki-gai no Honya-san revolves around the folks who work in a manga shop deep in a certain "Electric Town" neighborhood. ("Denki-Gai" or "Electric Town" is a popular name for shopping areas that specialize or used to specialize in electric and electronic items, like Tokyo's Akihabara.) The protagonist Umio works part-time at "BOOKS Umanohone" along with his senior at work (but not in age) Hiotan. As many dedicated manga fans visit the store, there is always something going on.
The cast includes:
Natsumi Takamori as Hiotan
Minami Tsuda as Sensei
Ayana Taketatsu as Fu Girl
Mai Aizawa as Kameko
Yū Kobayashi as G Men
Satomi Satou as Tsumorin
Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Kantoku

- Series Composition: Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (Princess Resurrection, Tantei Opera Milky Holmes)
- Character Design/Chief Animation Director: Yurie Kuniyuki (Tantei Opera Milky Holmes Dai-Ni-Maku animation director)
- Sound Director: Takuya Hiramitsu (Library War, The Prince of Tennis II)

The series premiered in October and Crunchyroll streamed Denki-gai no Honya-san as it aired in Japan.
