Tail of the Moon's Ueda to End Maria no Shiro Manga

posted on by Lynzee Loveridge
Story set in Japan's Taishō period launched last year

The March issue of Shueisha's Monthly You magazine is publishing the last chapter of manga creator Rinko Ueda Maria no Shiro (Maria's Castle) manga on Saturday. The announcement reads, "Stay tuned for Rinko Ueda-sensei's next appearance!!"

Maria no Shiro's story is set during Japan's Taishō period (July 30, 1912 to December 25, 1926). The series' tagline is, "The thing the girl mocked by fate has searched for!?"

Ueda launched the series last April and the first compiled volume shipped in September. Shueisha will publish the series' second volume on March 25.

Ueda's Hoikumen! manga launched as a full series in the same magazine in 2013 and Shueisha released the series' only compiled volume last September. Ueda is known for her manga titles Tail of the Moon and Stepping on Roses, both of which Viz Media published in North America.
