School of Ragnarok's 2nd Arcade Gameplay Video Streamed
Square Enix began streaming the second gameplay video for its upcoming School of Ragnarok arcade game on Thursday. The video features a battle between a player character using Balharades and a player character using Smile Heart (Nao Tōyama).
The game will allow players to customize avatars, become a student at one of the game's schools, and then battle other players' avatars. Depending on the school, the players' weapons and "school guardian" will change. The three currently-announced guardians are Ivol de Dacart (voiced by Natsuki Hanae), Balharades (Fumihiko Tachiki), and Magical Girl Smile Heart (Nao Tōyama).
Square Enix is aiming to release the "next dimension online 1 vs 1 tactical 5D action" arcade game sometime in 2015. Mistwalker's Kimihiko Fujisaka will design the characters, and monaca's Keiichi Okabe will compose the music. Square Enix game producer Takamasa Shiba and Spike Chunsoft game scenario-writer Kazutaka Kodaka are also involved in the project.
