LEGO's Ninjago Toys Inspire Manga This Month

The March issue of Shogakukan's Monthly CoroCoro Comic magazine announced on Saturday that the LEGO Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu toy sets are inspiring the LEGO LEGO Let's LEGO Ninjago manga. The series will debut in the March issue of Shogakukan's Bessatsu CoroCoro Comic Special magazine on February 28.
The magazine also announced that the animated Ninjago television series will premiere on TV Tokyo and its affiliated networks on April 6 at 6:30 p.m. The American animated television series Lego Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu premiered on Cartoon Network in the United States in 2011.
The magazine revealed that "10 big items" in the LEGO Ninjago series will ship in Japan on March 20. Next month's issue of Monthly CoroCoro Comic will publish more details.
LEGO Ninjago brick sets debuted in 2011 and contain elements from the earlier LEGO Ninja sets. There are currently 106 Ninjago Masters of Spinjitzu sets. The Ninjago franchise have inspired video games, books, and a film that is slated to premiere in 2016. Greg Farstey's graphic novel series launched in 2011, and the 11th volume shipped in North America in September.
