Funimation describes the story:
In modern day Tokyo, society lives in fear of Ghouls: mysterious creatures who look exactly like humans -- yet hunger insatiably for their flesh. None of this matters to Ken Kaneki, a bookish and ordinary young man, until a dark and violent encounter turns him into the first ever Ghoul-human half breed. Trapped between two worlds, Ken must survive the violent conflicts of warring Ghoul factions, while attempting to learn more about Ghoul society, his newfound powers, and the fine line between man and monster.
The company will also launch Broadcast Dubs for Death Parade, Tokyo Ghoul √A, The Rolling Girls, World Break: Aria of Curse for a Holy Swordsman, Kamisama Kiss 2, Absolute Duo, Yuri Kuma Arashi, Yona of the Dawn, and Maria the Virgin Witch.
Funimation launched its first two Broadcast Dubs, Psycho-Pass 2 and Laughing Under the Clouds, in November after premiering both shows with subtitles in October. The company plans to produce a final English dub after the Broadcast Dub and before the home video release of each show.
