US$20,000 stretch goal would upgrade game components

Seven Seas Entertainment's new games division reached its US$12,000 goal for the Space Dandy: Galactic Deck-Building Game in under six hours on Wednesday. The company launched a KickStarter campaign to fund the game's release.

The game's first stretch goal of US$20,000 will upgrade the game with better cardstock and pieces. Funimation and Bandai Entertainment are supervising the project.

Manga publisher Seven Seas Entertainment launched its Seven Seas Games division on Tuesday. The division will include trading card games (TCG), strategy board games, and miniature-based games based on anime and manga or with an "anime aesthetic." The company will fund games with Kickstarter in order to gauge interest.
