Otomen's Aya Kanno to Visit Toronto Comics Arts Festival

Requiem of the Rose King author makes her first N. American appearance
Viz Media announced on Wednesday that Aya Kanno (Otomen, Requiem of the Rose King) will appear as a guest at the Toronto Comic Arts Festival (TCAF) for an interview, panel, and book signing. This will be the manga artist's first North American appearance.
Akita Shoten's Yuri Yamamoto, Kanno's editor, will also appear at the event.
Viz Media published Kanno's 18-volume manga Otomen and two-volume manga Blank Slate, while Tokyopop published her Soul Rescue manga. Viz Media also licensed her newest series Requiem of the Rose King.
The festival will be held from May 9-10. Other guests include Gengoroh Tagame (The Passion of Gengoroh Tagame: Bara Master), Ken Niimura (I Kill Giants), and Gurihiru.
