Kentarō Yabuki and Saki Hasemi's To Love-Ru -Trouble- Darkness manga, a sequel of the first To Love-Ru -Trouble- series, launched in Jump Square in 2010. The series has 14 million copies in print. Sentai Filmworks licensed the 2012 television anime of the manga, and The Anime Network streamed the series in North America.
The 13th To Love-Ru -Trouble- Darkness manga volume will bundle a new anime DVD on Friday. The manga inspired previous orginal video anime projects as well.
Production on a new game, To Love-Ru -Trouble- Darkness: True Princess, has also been green-lit for this year. This time, the game is an "eagerly anticipated full-fledged dating simulation game" for the PS Vita system.
The franchise already inspired an earlier PS Vita game, the "ultra-pleasant harem action" game To Love-Ru -Trouble- Darkness: Battle Ecstasy.
