Kanako Itou sings new theme song for game shipping for PS4/PS3/PS Vita on June 25

Video game developer 5pb. Games began streaming the opening movie on Friday for the PlayStation ports of the Chaos;Child game. The commercial features Kanako Itou's new theme song for the game, titled "Singularity."

MAGES. and 5pb. Games will ship the port for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita in Japan on June 25 with a Z (18+) age rating.

The game is 5pb. and MAGES' fourth science-adventure title, after Chaos;HEAd, Steins;Gate, and Robotics;Notes.

Demo versions of Chaos;Child debuted on all three PlayStation platforms on March 30. The limited editions of the game's new releases will include a papercraft version of the "Present Box" and a drama CD starring Mio Kunosato.

Chaos;Child first debuted on the Xbox One in 2014. That first version allowed players to hear in-game phone calls via the controller, but the versions on other platforms will change this and other features.

In the psycho-suspense story, after a magnitude-7.8 earthquake hits Tokyo's Shibuya ward on November 6, 2009, a black fire spreads and causes mass panic on the day of the earthquake. The sudden disaster that becomes known as the "Shibuya Earthquake" kills 3,851 people and injures 30,927 more.

The game is set in a reconstructed Shibuya district in October 2015. A string of mysterious deaths occurs in Shibuya amidst the reconstruction. People begin to take notice as the strange events start on the same day that chaos broke out in Shibuya with a certain incident five years earlier. The events are called the "Return of the New Generation Madness."

Former MAGES head Chiyomaru Shikura revealed last month that an anime adaptation of Chaos;Child had been green-lit.
