The June issue of Shueisha's V Jump magazine is announcing on Tuesday that the Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butōden Nintendo 3DS game will include Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan (Super Saiyan God SS) form Vegeta in the title as a Z assist character. The character will be available via a code that are printed on Japanese tickets for the Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection 'F' film.

Bandai Namco Games is also streaming a promotional video for its Dragon Ball: Zenkai Battle Royale arcade game featuring Super Saiyan God SS form Goku and Golden Frieza in action:

Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butōden will ship in Japan on June 11 for 5,690 yen (about US$47), and first copies of the game will come bundled with a Dragon Ball Disk Cross disk featuring the version of Frieza that appears in the Dragon Ball Z: Fukkatsu no F (Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection 'F') film, a product code to download the Super Famicom (Super Nintendo) game Dragon Ball Z Cho Butoden 2 game to the Nintendo 3DS, and a card for Dragon Ball Heroes featuring the film version of Goku. If players have save data from the Dragon Ball Heroes Ultimate Mission 2 Nintendo 3DS game, Super Saiyan 4 Vegeta will appear within Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butōden.

Players can employ "Ultimate Arts" finishing moves, and the game will feature unique layouts and stages. With "Z Assist," Bulma and Chichi (among other characters) will provide support to players via Bulma's inventions from Capsule and Chichi's fury (which fills the screen with a giant speech balloon of her venting).

The franchise debuted on the Super Famicom system in Japan with Dragon Ball Z: Super Butōden in 1993. Dragon Ball Kai: Ultimate Butōden was released for the Nintendo DS in 2011.
