Australia's Madman Ent. offers film on DVD/Blu-ray on June 24

Australian distributor Madman Entertainment began streaming the full trailer for the 2014 live-action Lupin III movie with English subtitles. The same trailer debuted in Japan last June.

Madman Entertainment describes the movie:

Interpol Inspector Zenigata begins a world-wide hunt for the infamous thief Arsène Lupin III, who, with his cavalcade of collaborators infiltrate a highly secured fortress-like safe named the 'Ark of Navarone' to claim the "Crimson Heart of Cleopatra".

The iconic Monkey Punch character gets a vibrant modern action makeover by legendary genre filmmaker, Ryuhei Kitamura (VERSUS, GODZILLA: FINAL WARS).

Madman Entertainment licensed the movie for distribution in Australia and New Zealand last November. Madman will release the movie in DVD and Blu-ray on June 24, and it is also screening the film in select theaters in Australia and New Zealand.

The movie stars (from left to right in the images to the right) Tadanobu Asano as Detective Kōichi Zenigata, Gō Ayano as Goemon Ishikawa, Shun Oguri as Lupin, Tetsuji Tamayama as Daisuke Jigen, and Meisa Kuroki as Fujiko Mine. An original character, Lupin's nemesis Michael Lee, will be played by Jerry Yan (Meteor Garden) of the popular Taiwanese group F4. Other cast members include South Korean actor Kim Joon (South Korean Hana Yori Dango) and Thai actor Thanayong Wongtrakul (The Man from Nowhere).

The first live-action adaptation of Lupin III in four decades opened in Japan on August 30. Ryuhei Kitamura (Azumi) is directing the film, and Mataichirō Yamamoto wrote the script. The movie began filming in October 2013 and finished principal photography in December 2013. The production shot in Japan, Thailand, Hong Kong, Singapore, and the Philippines.
