Wake Up, Girls! Manga to Begin in Comp Ace

This year's June issue of Kadokawa's Comp Ace will announce on Saturday that a new manga series titled Wake Up, Girls! will begin in the July issue on May 26. Kento Kaga will draw the series and Green Leaves is credited as the original creator.
The magazine also announced that Riku Ayakawa's manga adaptation of Huji Masamune's light novel series Masō Gakuen HxH (Hybrid x Heart Magias Academy Ataraxia) will begin in the magazine's August issue on June 26.
The original Wake Up, Girls! anime by director Yutaka Yamamoto (often nicknamed as "Yamakan") and scriptwriter Touko Machida began in 2014 with the one-hour film Wake Up, Girls! Shichi-nin no Idol, followed by the television show. The series also spawned the Wake Up, Girl Zoo! original net animation later in 2014. Two sequel films has been green-lit for this September and December.
U.G.E's Little Challenger: Wake Up, Girls! -side I-1club- spinoff manga about the titular idol group's rivals I-1 Club ended last month in Gakken's Megumi Magazine.
