Kadokawa is announcing in the June issue of its Dengeki Hobby Magazine on Saturday that the magazine will cease publication after the next issue that will ship next month. The magazine will then be "reborn" as a digital version as part of the Dengeki Hobby Web website. The digital version will not only focus on plastic models, toys, and figures, but also reviews, event reports, how-tos, manga, and novels. Kadokawa plans to post articles quickly and frequently. Video content is also planned.

The magazine — which focuses on anime-related plastic models, figures, toys, and other subjects — began publication in November 1998 in Japan.
