Top Manga Magazines' Circulation Dropped 10%+ in 1 Year

The Japanese Magazine Publishers Association reported on Monday that Shogakukan's Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine dipped in circulation below 400,000. The verified average circulation number for the January-March 2015 period stood at 393,417.
By contrast, Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine's circulation was 2,422,500 during the same period, and Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine's circulation was 1,156,059.
Weekly Shonen Sunday dropped below 600,000 in July-September 2011, and it went below 500,000 in October-December 2013. Its circulation was 461,250 in January-March 2014, so it dropped about 15% in one year. Weekly Shōnen Magazine's circulation also dropped about 10% in one year, while Weekly Shonen Jump's circulation dropped about 11% in the same period.
Weekly Shonen Jump and Weekly Shōnen Magazine were still the top two manga magazines in circulation as of January-March 2015. However, Shogakukan's Monthly CoroCoro Comic (1,050,000) and Kodansha's Monthly Shonen Magazine (575,367) reported higher verified circulation numbers than Weekly Shonen Sunday.
