6th Hakuoki Stage Musical's TV Ad Showcases Cast

Marvelous AQL began streaming a 15-second commercial for the Hakuōki: Reimei Roku (Hakuōki: Daybreak Story) musical, the sixth musical in the Hakuōki series, on Thursday. The video previews the musical's cast.

The musical's official website unveiled the cast in costume in April. The cast members, some returning from the fifth musical, include:
- Atsushi Shiramata as Ryūnosuke Ibuki
- Yoshihide Sasaki as Toshizō Hijikata
- Yoshihiko Aramaki as Sōji Okita
- Shōhei Hashimoto as Hajime Saitō
- Ren Ozawa as Heisuke Tōdō
- Keisuke Higashi as Sanosuke Harada
- Hiroki Ino as Shinpachi Nagakura
- Teruma as Keisuke Yamanami
- Shōta Takasaki as Susumu Yamazaki
- Taira Imata as Isami Kondō
- Akira Kubodera as Kamo Serizawa
- Manji Edogawa as Kōdō Yukimura
- Kōki Shinozaki as Nishiki Niimi
Nobihiro Mōri will return to write and direct the musical. The musical will open at the AiiA 2.5 Theater Tokyo from May 23-31 and then open in Kyoto from June 10-14.
Idea Factory's Hakuōki Shinsengumi Kitan romance adventure game from Otomate, Idea Factory's brand aimed at female players, shipped in Japan for the PS3 in 2010, and was released in North America in May.
The story of the game and its anime adaptation center around the historical Shinsengumi samurai group in Kyoto during the 19th century.
The Hakuōki anime franchise includes the 12-episode Hakuōki series, the 10-episode sequel series Hakuōki Hekketsu-roku, and the 6-episode Hakuōki Sekkaroku OVA series. The franchise also includes a prequel television anime series and two films that premiered in 2013. Sentai Filmworks licensed the franchise in 2013.
