A new manga with an original concept and script by Yasuo Ohtagaki (Moonlight Mile) and art by Yūki Ohta began serializing in Square Enix's Big Gangan's fifth issue, which was released in Japan on April 25.

The manga, titled Ginga Rocket ni Ohagaki Kudasai (Please Give Me a Galactic Rocket & a Postcard), is an omnibus of stories that take place in a world that was hit by a meteor. In this world, humanity is doomed to be destroyed ten months after the collision.

Ohtagaki put his ongoing Moonlight Mile manga on hiatus to write the Mobile Suit Gundam Thunderbolt manga in 2011. The Moonlight Mile manga inspired the 2007 television anime that ADV Films (and later Funimation Entertainment) released in North America.
