Norio Tsukudani's manga inspired 2014 TV anime series

The July issue of Ichijinsha's Comic Rex magazine is revealing on Wednesday that Norio Tsukudani's Himegoto four-panel manga will end in the August issue on June 27.

The story follows Hime Arikawa, a boy who is being chased down by scary people. However, he is rescued from danger by the girls in his school's student council. The student council will assume Arikawa's debt under one condition: "As the student council's dog, you will spend your high school life in women's clothes."

Tsukudani launched the manga in Ichijinsha's WAaI! magazine in 2011, and the manga switched to Comic Rex in 2013. Ichijinsha published the fifth compiled volume (pictured below) on April 27.

The manga inspired a 13-episode television anime series of five-minute shorts that aired last year. Crunchyroll streamed the anime as it aired.
