On Monday May 25, Manga Entertainment is releasing One Piece Film Z on both Blu-ray (pictured) and DVD.
Said to be comparable to the Ancient Weapons of old, the Marines' trump card, the "Dyna Stones," have suddenly been stolen by a group of renegade vigilantes. The terrifyingly powerful man responsible, former Marine Admiral "Z", now stands in the path of Luffy and his Straw Hat Pirates. Can the Straw Hats defeat "Z" and his crew, or will the New World meet its end at the hands of this mad man?
One Piece manga creator Eiichiro Oda personally served as an executive producer on the film. Avril Lavigne contributed her songs "Bad Reputation" and "How You Remind Me."
MVM is releasing the series Devil Survivor 2 on Blu-ray. (The DVD is already available.) In the series, high school senior Hibiki Kuze and his best friend Daichi Shijima discover a website that will send videos of their friends' faces just before they die, only to receive videos of each other on the very spot where they're standing. When sudden disaster strikes, the same site that foretold doom allows them to summon the "demons" they need to survive, and the two friends along with classmate Io Nitta are thrown into an uneasy alliance with a secret organization fighting to stop the end of the world.
The anime series adapts Atlus' Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor 2 Nintendo DS role-playing game. Seiji Kishi (Persona 4 The Animation) directed the series, and Yoshimichi Hirai is the assistant director at the studio Bridge. Makoto Uezu is in charge of the series scripts, and Kōtarō Nakagawa is scoring the music.
Manga Entertainment is also releasing Bleach Series 15 Part 1 (subtitled "The Invading Army"), carrying episodes 317 to 329.
