Actor Christopher Lee Passes Away

Knighted actor played roles in James Bond, Lord of the Rings, The Last Unicorn, Kingdom Hearts

English actor Sir Christopher Lee passed away at Chelsea and Westminster hospital in London on Sunday. He was 93.

Lee was hospitalized for respiratory problems and heart failure.

He was best known for playing villains, from Dracula and Frankenstein's monster to James Bond's Scaramanga, Star Wars' Count Dooku, and The Lord of the Rings' Saruman. As a singer, he released opera and heavy metal albums.

He voiced roles in the Japanese-animated films The Last Unicorn and Sanrio's Nutcracker Fantasy. He also played Ansem the Wise/DiZ in several Kingdom Hearts games.

He was knighted in 2009 for his work in drama and charity.
