Arc System Works Acquires Double Dragon, River City Ransom, Super Dodgeball Games

More than 50 Technos Japan titles listed

Arc System Works (Guilty Gear, Blazblue) announced on Thursday that it has acquired the rights to a number of Technos Japan games as of June 1. The license includes more than 50 titles that were initially released in Japan between 1982 and 1994, including Double Dragon, Super Dodge Ball, River City Ransom, and Kunio-kun games.

The rights were previously held by Million Co.

Arc System Works has already published several Kunio-kun games, most recently the Nintendo 3DS game Downtown Nekketsu Jidaigeki on May 28.
