Miss Monochrome 2nd Season's 2 TV Ads Streamed

King Records began streaming two television ads on Friday for Miss Monochrome - The Animation- 2, the second season of Miss Monochrome.

King Records also began streaming footage on Friday from the "Horie Yui wo Meguru Bōken V ~Nerawareta Gakuensai~" concert featuring Miss Monochrome as a virtual idol.

The anime's first season premiered in 2013, and Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired.

The original story follows Miss Monochrome, an android girl that decides she "wants more than ever before!" In order to achieve that desire, she puts her plan into motion to become the hottest idol. Usually the type to run around in circles, Miss Monochrome scrambles to make it in the idol industry.

Miss Monochrome, a character created and played by voice actress Yui Horie, appeared as a 3D character at the "Horie Yui o Meguru Bōken III ~Secret Mission Tour~" concert in March of 2012. True to her name, she despises color. After her concert appearance, Miss Monochrome spawned a line of character goods, and she already appeared in the popular social game Girlfriend (Kari) or Girlfriend Beta.

Miss Monochrome - The Animation- 2 is part of the "Ultra Super Anime Time" 30-minute anime programming block. The summer season of the block will also include the Wooser no Sono Higurashi Mugen-hen anime, and the Wakaba Girl anime. The Twitter account for the programming block streamed a TV ad for all three series on Tuesday.
