News Viewster Streaming Service Opens Office in Los Angeles

The worldwide video streaming service Viewster announced on Thursday that it is opening a new office in Los Angeles to "drive its strategic growth and revenue initiatives, including a premium offering." Rob Pereyda will lead the office as the CEO of the American subsidiary company Viewster Inc. to develop new revenue and product offerings, and to "work to drive Viewster's position in North America in genre content, including anime, sci-fi, horror and gaming."
Pereyda previously worked at Bandai Namco Games' Tokyo headquarters in corporate planning, network strategy, and producing. He also led the ShiftyLook web comic and video game initiative, which ran from March 2012 to March 2014.
Pereyda started working with Viewster as a strategic adviser last year.
Vewster's head office is in Zurich, Switzerland, but it also has a branch office in Germany. The company was founded in 2007. The free streaming site is supported by advertising has more than 10,000 titles in its catalog across anime, thriller, sci-fi, and fantasy. The company is streaming various anime from the spring 2015 season, including Fate/stay night Unlimited Blade Works, Gunslinger Stratos, Plastic Memories, and more.
The company also streams older anime in its catalog, including Golden Boy, Sushi and Beyond, Vampire Holmes, Blessing of the Campanella, and more. The site also streams anime in French, Spanish, Italian, and German.
Viewster launched a new mobile app for iOS and Android last month.
