Age Premium Online Manga Magazine Shuts Down

5 manga to transfer to sister magazine Monthly Dragon Age

The editorial department of Kadokawa's Age Premium monthly digital comic magazine is announcing on Thursday that it is ceasing publication after publishing its 49th volume on the same day. The announcement comes in the August issue of its sister publication Monthly Dragon Age magazine.

Five manga from Age Premium will transfer to Monthly Dragon Age, including:

The manga's new chapters for the month are also appearing in the August issue of Monthly Dragon Age on Thursday.

Seven Seas Entertainment licensed OKAYADO's 12 Beast manga for North America, and released the manga's second English volume on Tuesday.

Yen Press announced at Anime Expo on Sunday that it had licensed Koyuki's Log Horizon: The West Wind Brigade (Log Horizon - Nishikaze no Ryodan) manga. It has also previously licensed the original Log Horizon light novel series by Mamare Touno, and released the first novel in English on April 21.

Age Premium launched in August 2011. Since then it has published such manga as Blazblue: Remix Heart, Kan Colle Na no Desu!, Gakuen Chaika!, Oda Nobuna no Yabō: Hime-sama to Issho, and Yūsha Rin no Densetsu. It sometimes concurrently published or reprinted manga from Monthly Dragon Age.
