Rock Band Goodbye Holiday to Perform One Piece Episode of Sabo Anime Special's Theme Song

Special focusing on 3 brothers' childhood, how Sabo came to Dressrosa to air on August 22

This year's 33rd issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine will reveal on Monday that the four-member band Goodbye Holiday will perform the theme song "Revelator" for the One Piece Episode of Sabo ~3-Kyōdai no Kizuna Kiseki no Saikai to Uketsugareru Ishi~ (One Piece Episode of Sabo: The Three Brothers' Bond - The Miraculous Reunion and the Inherited Resolve) anime special that will air on August 22.

The pop and rock band formed in Hiroshima in 2008, and they made their major debut with their single "Kakumei Akatsuki," which shipped in Japan on July 8.

The special will revisit the childhood past of the three sworn brothers Luffy, Ace, and Sabo, when they all dreamed of becoming pirates. In addition, it will depict how Sabo originally came into the kingdom of Dressrosa (which was not depicted in Eiichiro Oda's original manga or the television anime), as well as his reunion with Luffy from his point of view.

The special will air on Fuji TV on Saturday, August 22 from 9:00 to 11:10 p.m. (The One Piece television anime series normally airs on Sunday mornings.)

The One Piece "3D2Y" Ace no Shi wo Koete! Luffy Nakama to no Chikai special celebrated the 15th anniversary of the television anime last August, and it ended with a shot of Sabo standing at a place pivotal to the story.

One Piece Episode of Merry: Mō Hitori no Nakama no Monogatari (One Piece Episode of Merry: The Tale of One More Friend) aired on August 24, 2013. Before that, the One Piece Episode of Luffy: Hand Island no Bōken special and One Piece Episode of Nami: Kōkaishi no Namida to Nakama no Kizuna special also aired on Saturday evenings in 2012.
