Dragon Quest Monsters Joker 3 Announced for 3DS

This year's 34th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump will announce a new Nintendo 3DS game titled Dragon Quest Monsters Joker 3 on Monday.
The magazine revealed the main character and a "mysterious being" called Nochōra. The September issue of Shueisha's V Jump magazine will share a few more details on Tuesday. The story takes place in a "cyber" world with advanced science, and the device the main character wears on his ears is called a "reactor." The game will feature more than 500 monsters.
Like previous games in the series, Dragon Quest Monsters Joker 3 has designs by Akira Toriyama.
Square Enix released Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker and Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 2 for Nintendo DS in 2006 and 2010, respectively. Dragon Quest Monsters Joker 2: Professional shipped in Japan in 2011. Square Enix also released remakes of the first and second Dragon Quest Monsters Game Boy Color games on Nintendo 3DS in 2012 and 2014.
