Avengers Gets Zombie Manga on Japanese Mangabox App

Zombies crash Stark's birthday party in manga by Age of Ultron prequel artist Yūsaku Komiyama
Artist Yūsaku Komiyama (Ixion Saga) will post the Avengers: Zombies Assemble manga on the Japanese version of the Mangabox app on Wednesday. The Japan-exclusive Avengers story will follow the Marvel superhero team as they gather for a surprise birthday party for Tony Stark. However, zombies crash the party, and the heroes attempt to contain the outbreak. Unfortunately, even some of the Avengers become infected.
Komiyama published an "Episode 0" one-shot prequel manga for the Avengers: Age of Ultron film in Kodansha's Shonen Magazine earlier this month.
In the United States, The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman wrote a Marvel Zombies comic mini-series from 2005 to 2006. That story has since spawned several spinoff stories.
