Detroit Metal City/All Esper Dayo! Creator to Start New Manga

Manga creator Kiminori Wakasugi announced on his official Twitter account on Wednesday that he will begin a new series in October.

Wakasugi announced his plans to end his current manga, All Esper Dayo! (Minna! Esper Dayo!), earlier this month. Kodansha will release the seventh compiled volume of the series on August 6, and the eighth and final volume in September.
Wakasugi launched All Esper Dayo! in Weekly Young Magazine in 2009, shortly before he ended the popular comedy Detroit Metal City the following year. Kodansha published the sixth compiled volume of Minna! Esper Dayo! in February 2014. Wakasugi launched a new arc of the manga in Young Magazine this spring.
Viz Media published Detroit Metal City in North America. The manga inspired both a live-action movie and an original video anime, while All Esper Dayo! inspired a live-action television series, a special and film.
