AFA Indonesia to Host Yurika Endō, Yumiri Hanamori, Michi

Anime Festival Asia announced on Friday that voice actresses Yurika Endō and Yumiri Hanamori, and singer Michi will appear in AFA Indonesia as Pony Canyon's special guests for the event.

Endō won the Grand-Prix award in Pony Canyon's "Koe Tama Grand-Prix Audition" in 2012. She debuted as part of the YURI*KARI musical group with Karin Takahashi, and performed theme songs for such anime as The Severing Crime Edge, Ace of Diamond, and Z/X Ignition. She has also played such characters as Haruno Yoshikawa in Ace of Diamond, Aina Mikage in Z/X Ignition, and Asuna Kangoshi in Comical Psychosomatic Medicine. She released her latest CD single, "Futari no Chrono Stasis," in August 2014. The single's title song served as the ending theme for the Magimoji Rurumo TV anime.

Hanamori has performed theme songs for such anime as The Rolling Girls and Etotama, and has played such characters as Sachiko Umemoto in Ace of Diamond, Sōta Amaya in Aiura, Chiaya Misono in The Rolling Girls, Uritan in Etotama, and Remo in the upcoming Garakowa -Restore the World- anime film.

Michi debuted with the Rokka: Braves of the Six Flowers TV anime series, performing the show's first opening theme "Cry for the Truth," as well as the show's first ending theme "Secret Sky."

All three will make an appearance on the AFA Day Stage. Anime Festival Asia will announce more details on their appearance at a later date.

AFA Indonesia will take place in Jakarta, Indonesia on September 25-27.

Anime Festival Asia has held an event in Jakarta, Indonesia every year since 2012. Anime Festival Asia ran last year's event in Indonesia from August 15 to 17.

The Anime Festival Asia convention also held an event in Bangkok, Thailand from April 30 to May 3, and will hold its main convention in Singapore from November 27-29.
