Funimation Unveils Gangsta. Broadcast Dub Cast, Preview Video

FUNimation Entertainment announced the cast and began streaming a preview for its broadcast dub of Gangsta. on Wednesday.
The cast, under ADR Director Christopher Bevins, assistant ADR Director Jeremy Inman, ADR engineer Domonique French, assistant ADR engineers Greg Taylor and Phillip Jones, and lead writer Jared Hedges, includes:
- Ian Sinclair as Worick Arcangelo
- Brandon Potter as Nicolas Brown
- Felecia Angelle as Alex Benedetto
- John Swasey as Chad Adkins
- Aaron Roberts as Cody Balfour
The dub will premiere on Wednesday at 9:00 p.m. as part of Funimation's DubbleTalk block.
The series premiered on July 1 in Japan and Funimation is streaming the series with English subtitles as it airs.
Kohske's original Gangsta. manga revolves around Nick (played by Kenjiro Tsuda) and Worick (Junichi Suwabe), two men who take on jobs from both the mafia and the police in the town of Ergastulum, a rotten town filled with mafia, hoodlums, prostitutes, and dirty cops.
Shukou Murase (Dante's Inferno: An Animated Epic, Genocidal Organ) is directing the anime at Manglobe (The Unlimited - Hyōbu Kyōsuke, Hayate the Combat Butler! Cuties). Viz publishes the manga in North America.
