Malacañang Palace Gives Congratulatory Letter to WCS 2015 Philippine Team

Philippines represented in competition by Jennifer Ong and Sarah Jane de Ocampo
The World Cosplay Summit 2015 competition's Philippine team revealed a letter on Wednesday on its Facebook page from President Benigno S. Aquino III, sent from the Office of the President of the Philippines, encouraging the team on a good performance as it represented the country in Nagoya, Japan.
The contest was held in Nagoya on August 1.
The Philippine representatives to the competition included Jennifer Ong and Sarah Jane de Ocampo from Davao City, in costume as Lu Lungqi and Sun Shangxiang from Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends. They performed a skit based on the game.
Mexico eventually won the competition.
