Tsukiji Nao's series follows umbrella maker, policeman who get caught up in bizarre crimes
The wraparound band on the ninth volume of Tsukiji Nao's Adekan manga revealed on August 25 that the manga is getting a stage play adaptation next year. CLIE is producing the play, which will run at the Theater Sun Mall in Tokyo from March 30-April 3. Yō Hosaka is directing the play and writing its script.
Nao launched the series in Shinshokan's Wings magazine in 2008. JManga described the series as follows:
Shiro, a sexy loinclothless umbrella maker and Koujirou, a policeman with a passionate sense of justice who stands against all things undisciplined, together get caught up in erotic, grotesque and bizarre crimes in the back streets of what appears to be the Meiji Era of Japan.
JManga had published two volumes of the series digitally before the site ended service in May 2013.
