Screening open to "Stage+Exhibition," "Concert GA," and "Concert VIP" ticketholders

Anime Festival Asia revealed on Monday and Tuesday that it will screen the Yowamushi Pedal anime film and the Gekijōban Date A Live: Mayuri Judgment anime film at its Indonesia event. The screening will be available to "Stage+Exhibition," "Concert GA," and "Concert VIP" ticket holders for the event.

The Yowamushi Pedal film opened in Japan on August 28. The cast from the TV anime series returned for the film, and Mamoru Miyano (Free! - Iwatobi Swim Club, Tokyo Ghoul) also joined the cast as the new character Shin Yoshimoto, the ace of Kumamoto Daiichi High School. He is a third-year Kumamoto Daiichi High School student who possesses a cheerful yet aggressive personality. He was not able to participate in the Inter High due to an injury, but he still has first-class legs honed on Mount Aso.

Wataru Watanabe, the creator of the original Yowamushi Pedal manga, wrote the new story for the film:

[Highlight white text to read spoilers for the earlier manga and television anime] After winning the fierce Inter High race, Sakamichi and the other Sōhoku team members receive an invitation to compete in the Kumamoto Hi Province Mountain Range Race toward the end of summer. The top-tier teams from around the country compete in this race, including Sōhoku's rivals Hakone Academy (which yearns to take down Sōhoku), Kyoto Fushimi, and Hiroshima Kureminami — as well as Kumamoto Daiichi High School's team led by Shin Yoshimoto.

On the stage of Kumamoto Prefecture's Mount Aso, the curtain rises for the "final race" of Sōhoku team led by Kinjō.

The television anime's director Osamu Nabeshima served as chief director of the film, with Norihiro Naganuma (assistant director and script contributor on Hōzuki no Reitetsu) as the film's hands-on director. After performing the second television season's opening theme song, the rock band Lastgasp returned to contribute the movie's theme song "Link."

The Gekijōban Date A Live: Mayuri Judgment anime film opened in Japan on August 22. The film and the TV anime are adapted from Koushi Tachibana's Date A Live light novel series.

Anime Festival Asia describes the film:

Shido Itsuka, who has fought persistently to save the spirits, in order to bring forth peaceful days. However, the appearance of a unknown ball-like structure after a spirit quake has broken the norm — at the same time, the appearance of a mysterious girl.

What is the aim of the girl who has focused her gaze on Shido?

Under a tense situation, Shido's “Mission” is to “date all the Spirits and gain all their affections?!”

With humankind at stake, the battle begins again!

Keitaro Motonaga returned from the TV anime series to direct the film off of Hideki Shirane's screenplay at Production IMS. Satoshi Ishino and Koji Watanabe also returned to adapt Tsunako's original character illustrations for animation, and Watanabe also served as chief animation director.

The cast from the TV anime returned for the film, and Sora Amamiya played Mayuri.
