Aniplex USA to Import 3rd Persona 3 Film on Blu-ray Disc

Aniplex of America announced on Saturday that it will release Shin Megami Tensei Persona 3 The Movie #3 Falling Down as an imported Blu-ray Disc. Pre-orders will begin on Tuesday, September 8 for both standard and collector's editions shipping on January 20, 2016.
The standard edition will include the film along with trailers, commercials, and audio commentary. The collector's edition will add a soundtrack CD, art box with an exclusive illustration by character designer and animation director Keisuke Watabe, new cover art, 48-page booklet, 10 Super P3 stickers, and three key art illustration cards.
The collector's edition retails for US$99.98, but Aniplex is selling it at a sales price of US$79.98. The standard edition retails for US$74.98, but Aniplex is selling it at a sales price of US$59.98.
Keitaro Motonaga directed the film at A-1 Pictures from a screenplay by Jun Kumagai with supervision by Seiji Kishi. Keisuke Watabe designed the characters for the film, and Tomomi Ishikawa, Yae Ootsuka, and Yuko Yamada served as animation directors. Shoji Meguro and Tetsuya Kobayashi scored the soundtrack.
The film opened in Japan on April 4. The fourth and last film, Persona 3 the Movie #4 Winter of Rebirth, will premiere in Japan on January 23, 2016.
Aniplex of America released the first film in May 2014, followed by the second film on March 11.
