The official website for Japan Anima(tor)'s Exhibition (Japan Animator Expo), the weekly anime shorts from Hideaki Anno's Studio Khara and the media company Dwango, announced on Monday that the 31st short will be Hibiki Yoshizaki and DAOKO's "GIRL." The short will debut on Friday.

Yoshizaki is directing and composing the storyboard for the short at Studio Khara, and Shuichi Iseki is serving as character designer and animation director. Hiroki Shinagawa is handling the image board.
The short will be a music video of two of rapper DAOKO's songs: "Samishii Kamisama" and "Yumemiteta no Atashi." Hideya Kojima collaborated on music composition.
Yoshizaki previously directed the Japan Animator Expo animated music video "ME!ME!ME!," which also featured DAOKO.
Japan Animator Expo also announced that 14 shorts from the project will screen at Scotland Loves Anime 2015 on October 16 in Scotland.

Ghibli co-founder Hayao Miyazaki created the title logo, and fellow Ghibli co-founder Toshio Suzuki colored it. The shorts mostly feature the voice talent of Ranma ½ and Cowboy Bebop co-stars Kouichi Yamadera and Megumi Hayashibara.
