Spike Chunsoft Reveals New Danganronpa V3 Game for PS4/Vita

Spike Chunsoft announced during the Sony Computer Entertainment Japan Asia press conference on Tuesday that it is developing the newest installment in its Danganronpa mystery game series, titled New Danganronpa V3: Minna no Koroshiai Shin Gakki (New Danganronpa V3: Everyone's New Semester of Killing). Spike Chunsoft also revealed a teaser for the game during the press conference.

Spike Chunsoft is developing the game for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita, but said that it could not announce a release date.

Danganronpa series creator Kazutaka Kodaka stated in March that the game was in the early stages of production at the time.

NIS America released the Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls (Zettai Zetsubō Shōjo Danganronpa: Another Episode, or Absolute Despair Girl Danganronpa: Another Episode) PlayStation Vita game on September 1 for North America. The game is a spinoff of Spike Chunsoft's earlier Danganronpa games, which NIS America released on PS Vita in North America and Europe last year under the names Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc and Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair.

The first game was adapted into a TV anime in 2013. Funimation streamed the anime as it aired in Japan. Funimation is also providing an English dub of the anime, and will release the series on DVD and Blu-ray this year.
