Dark Souls III Game's Western April 2016 Release Date, 'Ready Yourselves!' Video Streamed

Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe began streaming a "Ready Yourselves!" video on Thursday for its Dark Souls III PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC game. The trailer and the official website reveal that the game will ship in the United States and Europe in April 2016. Those interested can apply to join a network stress test for the game's PS4 version at the official website from September 18-October 4. Testing will take place on October 16-18.
The game will ship in Japan on March 24 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game will retail for 7,430 yen (about US$61) for the package edition, and 6,930 yen (US$57) for the download edition. The package edition will have a limited amount of copies that will come with a specially made map and an original soundtrack CD.
Pre-orders for the game start on October 7. Hidetaka Miyazaki is directing the game at FromSoftware. The company will reveal a release date in Japan for PC in the future.
Dark Souls II debuted in North America, Japan, and Europe last year. The updated Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin debuted in April.
