This year's October issue of Shueisha's Ultra Jump magazine announced on Saturday that Natsume Ono will begin a new series titled Lady and Oldman in the November issue on October 19. The issue will include a Lady and Oldman mini clear file.

The story takes place in Los Angeles in the 1960's. A pair known as "Lady and Oldman" wander from street to street, sometimes getting caught in cases and sometimes finding solutions.

Since she made her debut in 2003 with La Quinta Camera ~5 Banme no Heya~, Ono's works have included House of Five Leaves, Ristorante Paradiso, Gente ~Ristorante no Hitobito~, Tesoro, and Not Simple. Viz Media is publishing all of these titles in North America. Kodansha Comics also published Ono's Danza manga in English. Other manga by Ono include ACCA 13-Ku Kansatsu-Ka and the House of Five Leaves spinoff manga Kozure Dōshin.

Ono launched her historical manga series Futagashira in Shogakukan's Monthly Ikki magazine in May 2011, and continued it in Shogakukan's new magazine Hibana starting in March after After Shogakukan suspended publication of Monthly Ikki.

Both Ristorante Paradiso and House of Five Leaves have been adapted into late-night television anime series in Japan. Futagashira inspired a live-action drama this past summer.
