Absolute Duo Light Novel Now Available in Indonesia

Light novel will be available in Gramedia bookstores in the country

Indonesian publisher Shining Rose Media announced on Wednesday that it has finished printing the Indonesian release of the first volume of Takumi Hiiragi-Boshi's Absolute Duo light novel series, and that it is now available in Gramedia bookstores in the country.

Shining Rose Media also announced a price increase for all new books, including Absolute Duo. All new books will be sold at 66,000 rupiah. All previous books are unaffected.

Shining Rose Media previously previewed the preview and first chapter of Absolute Duo's Indonesian release.

The novel's story begins with Blaze — a weapon that is the manifestation of a human's soul. Tōru Kokonoe happens to be qualified for this, but for some reason his Blaze is not a weapon, but a shield. Moreover, he enrolled in a school that teaches combat skills, and thanks to the school's Duo partner system, he ends up living with a beautiful silver-haired girl.

Hiiragi-Boshi launched the light novel series with art by Yū Asaba in 2012, and Kadokawa published the ninth volume in Japan on July 24. Shinichirō Nariie launched a manga adaptation in Media Factory's Monthly Comic Alive magazine in April 2013. Tōru Oikawa launched another manga spinoff of the novels titled Absolute Duo Tea Party in Monthly Comic Alive last October. The 12-episode TV anime adaptation of the novel series premiered in January.
