Series follows an artist who's life is changed when he meets a girl

This year's 19th issue of Hakusensha's Young Animal magazine will announce on Friday that Ai Yori Aoshi creator Kou Fumizuki will start a new series titled Boku to Rune to Aoarashi (Me and René and the Fresh Wind) in the next issue on October 9.

The story follows a protagonist who always draws with no particular purpose, but his life is changed dramatically when he meets a girl one summer.

Tokyopop published the entire 17-volume Ai Yori Aoshi manga in North America, while Pioneer LDC (later known as Geneon Entertainment) released the two television anime series adaptations. In addition to Ai Yori Aoshi, Fumizuki also created Umi no Misaki, which ended in February 2014, and Itadaki!.
