Hatsune Miku DLC for Persona 4: Dancing All Night Coming to N. America

posted on by Karen Ressler
Full game slated for September 29

Atlus USA announced on Thursday that Vocaloid virtual idol Hatsune Miku will be available in its North American release of Persona 4: Dancing All Night as a purchasable DLC. This DLC also includes the song "Heaven feat. Hatsune Miku" (ATOLS Remix).

She will be available on October 20 for US$4.99, like Marie and Adachi. The DLC has already launched for the Japanese version of the game.

Atlus USA will release a launch edition and a "Disco Fever" edition of the game on September 29. The standard launch edition of the game will retail for US$49.99 and include a Vita skin and 10 wallpapers. The "Disco Fever" edition will retail for US$79.99 and include two soundtrack CDs, a reversible PlayStation Vita pouch, a Teddie keychain, large collectible box, and DLCs for a bonus song, Persona 3 costumes, and summer break costumes.

NIS America will release the game in Europe on November 6.

The game shipped in Japan on June 25.

The story of the game begins half a year after the Inaba City serial murder case was solved and Rise Kujikawa returns to the world of entertainment. As rumors begin spreading that "at midnight, if you see a strange video playing on a certain site, you are transported to the 'other side' and will never wake up again," members of the idol group "Kanamin Kitchen," which includes Rise's underclassman Kanami Mashita (voiced by Minako Kotobuki), are disappearing.

In the game, the "Hero," Rise, Kanami, Yosuke, Chie, Kanji, Yukiko, Naoto, Nanako, and other Persona 4 characters engage in a "dance battle" with the Shadows in the mysterious world of "Mayonaka Stage."
